Agri-Tourism

Agri-Tourism, as I see it, involves any agriculturally-based operation or
activity that brings visitors to a farm or ranch.

I believe agri-tourism’s purpose to be:

-to educate the traveler about the products grown and the labor involved

-to educate the traveler about the land itself; the natural history of the area

-to provide funds directly to the people who live in that community or area

-to expose the visitor to the lifestyle of the people in that community or area

-to foster respect for different cultures and/or lifestyles
